Collins Aerospace is seeking an experienced 2nd shift Warehouse Operator . You will be responsible for receiving and transporting raw materials, parts, and equipment; store and maintain parts in stockroom; assemble, package, and transport/load parts and equipment.

Onsite: This position will work onsite at our Troy, OH Landing Systems Headquarters. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

2nd Shift Monday– Friday 3:00p.m.- 11:00p.m.

What will you do :

  • Receive job assignment and any special instructions from supervisor.

  • Read necessary documents to verify receipts, stockroom materials or shipment items. Prepare necessary documents in support of these duties, including but not limited to material verification slips, receivers, ID slips, inventory slips.

  • Unload or load vehicles, transport materials within shipping, receiving, or receiving inspection as required.

  • Receive, store, and retrieve materials from work area and transport as necessary to Shipping, Assembly, Receiving Inspection, Warehouse, Assembly, or cell/department and maintain correct inventory records.

  • Initiate orders for packaging supplies when required. Set up SPL packaging jobs. Plan and/or order packaging supplies when required.

  • Deliver materials to/or from mailroom to/or from Shipping and Receiving.

  • Perform duties and operate equipment necessary to prepare items for shipment including but not limited to making boxes or crates, packaging, counting, weighing, labeling, painting, or marking items, and appropriate paperwork to complete transaction.

  • Operate Goodrich truck for deliveries or pick-ups as instructed.

  • Maintain work areas and machines in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.

  • Attend training classes, departmental meetings and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

  • Oil machines as needed utilizing appropriate tools.

  • Retrieve items from tool crib and complete forms/transactions as required.

    Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a high school diploma or GED.

  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required. https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62 .

    Qualifications We Prefer:

  • SAP experience

  • Previous aerospace experience

  • Warehouse experience

    Physical requirements:

  • Wearing of all personal protective equipment as required.

  • In addition to the items subsumed in the job duties above, it should be noted that this position requires substantial reaching and moving while standing; lifting, up to 25 lbs.; twisting; stooping; and response to sounds associated to the work environment.

The salary range for this role is 36,000 USD - 72,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
