HTC Global Services, Inc. has an opening for the position of Systems Analyst (Ref# SA313AT).
Work Location: Troy, MI and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
Job Duties: As part of a team, formulate, analyze, and define system requirements, scope, and objectives through research and fact-finding. Responsible for performing gap analysis of the business requirements for vehicle electrical control systems and ECUs (Electronic Control Units). Create the requirements traceability matrix for usage in development and quality assurance. Responsible for business processes definition and business transformation from business objectives to application process definitions. Create business cases and provide support for project estimations. Analyze and test electric vehicle systems. Perform registration and pairing operations of connected services platforms. Support test strategies and contribute to test coverage assessment. Involved in defining, designing, testing, and roll-out of systems development projects. Participate in technical research to enable continued innovation within the IT systems. Upgrade and support the system installation, software, and hardware platforms. Test and debug the platform and create test results and documentation. Create and modify the system platform documents. Understand vehicle communication networks and capture communication traces to support system validation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of connectivity issues. Conduct system validation and troubleshooting of vehicle telematics registration and pairing processes. Troubleshoot communication breakdowns within the network by analyzing network communication. Execute essential procedures to complete the test bench or vehicle registration workflows without connectivity disruptions. Provide technical support to the QA team for system validation and defect resolution of new software releases in vehicles. Ensure vehicle system compatibility across production and staging environments. Generate and analyze system logs using internal diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues. Capture and interpret Controller Area Network (CAN) logs for system validation and fault diagnosis. Flash and program vehicle ECUs diagnosing root causes of system failures.
Requirements: This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or 1 year in a related occupation including Systems Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Automation Engineer, or related experience. Position requires 3 months of experience with electrical control systems. 40hrs/week.
