HTC Global Services, Inc. has multiple openings for the position of IT Project Manager (Ref# ITPM318RJ).
Work Location: Troy, MI and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
Job Duties: Plan, manage, schedule, monitor, and provide technical direction for various IT projects. Create, maintain, and manage detailed project plan for schedule management and meet program/project deadlines of application development and maintenance. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget. Manage integration of solutions with existing ecosystem. Create, implement, and manage change requests for on-time approval. Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques. Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Meet with clients to clarify specific requirements of each project. Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis. Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients and other staff members. Lead the Scrum team in using Agile methodology and Scrum practices. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (grooming, sprint planning, review, retrospectives, daily stand-ups, etc.). Collaborate closely with the Product Owner (PO) for managing the product backlog. Work to remove all impediments and obstructions to the team's progress. Create metrics (burndown / burnup charts) and track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress. Manage architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment of complex programs and projects. Identify and analyze risks/issues, establish contingency plans, identify trigger events, and initiate mitigation action. Gather stakeholder input and rank the project risks/issues in terms of total impact. Manage and coordinate project deployments between vendors, client development teams, and release management teams. Responsible for the communication between onshore and offshore teams. Use of Agile Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), and JIRA.
Requirements: This position requires a Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Software Engineer, Project Lead, or related experience. Will accept a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Position requires 2 years of experience with Scrum ceremonies and JIRA. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
