HTC Global Services, Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Application Programmer / Developer (Ref# APD312NET).
Work Location: Troy, MI and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
Job Duties: Create and modify moderately complex applications programs from detailed specifications. Responsible for requirement gathering and software development and architecture of applications for client projects, using .NET technologies. Develop in-detail technical specifications for application software to be performed by the development team. Review the technical design specifications and code new or modify existing programs as per the design requirements. Identify the client requirements by detailed discussions/meetings with client, functional users, functional/technical consultants, and product owners to collect requirement specifications, metrics, and key performance indicators. Develop and enhance web applications using C#, ASP.Net MVC, Web API, Web Services, and.NET Core with SQL Server. Mentor and lead the team members in all .NET technologies and related applications. Write complex SQL queries. Review system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested change is possible within existing system. Analyze complex business problems in the existing system by collaborating with end users. Review design ideas and prototype with product owners and development team. Prepare flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate the software architecture that meets client requirements in an effective and cost-efficient manner. Prepare test plans based on the system requirements specification. Complete unit testing for the developed applications. Inspect test results for accuracy and completeness. Ensure the desired quality standards and system functionality are being met. Provide application technical support and maintenance activities for implemented systems and enhanced system functionality. Recommend design enhancements to improve any deficiencies in the product / new enhancements and releases. Provide innovative solutions to complex system problems. Interact with end users and troubleshoot production issues. Provide post implementation support and training for the applications. Use of .NET Core, C#, ASP.Net, ASP.Net MVC, REST API, Visual Studio, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, Angular, Bootstrap, WCF, WPF, SQL Server, AWS, Azure, and Windows.
Requirements: This position requires a Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Software Engineer, Solution Architect, Technical Lead, or related experience. Will accept a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Position requires 1 year of experience with .NET Core, either JavaScript or Angular, and either AWS or Azure. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
