Senior HR Business Partner

Location: Trezzano Sul Naviglio, Milan

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Function as a strategic HR business partner to the commercial leaders of the Country to develop and execute critical business and organizational strategies.

  • Be a credible coach and confidante to leaders, as well as a strong employee advocate.

  • Provide leadership, guidance and advice on matters related to talent, organizational change, human capital, employee engagement etc.

  • Sets operational strategy for multiple areas (e.g., payroll, administration, recruitment) and lead the local HR team to ensure smooth and timely delivery of all HR operational services and an excellent employee experience

  • Develop and execute HR plans, processes, and programs aligned with business objectives, including organizational design, succession planning, talent management/acquisition, goal alignment, employee engagement and communications.

  • Provide guidance to leadership on talent management/development and succession planning to ensure the right talent capabilities and bench strength are developed to support the business.

  • Provide guidance and coaching to leaders on change management to positively impact organizational effectiveness.

  • Drive and enable cultural transformation to support a Diverse and Inclusive environment.

  • Key member of the EMEA CHVAC HR team

  • Collaborate with other HR leaders to share best practices, critical needs issues, and business initiatives.

  • Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on organizational development related matters, including organizational analysis, strategy, structure, and key processes to support organizational/business needs.

  • Coach and advise on appropriate total rewards strategies, programs, and tools to enhance organizational performance and employee engagement.

Scope:

3 Legal entities : MTA Italy, Trane Italy, Thermocold Distribution

HC 2024: 200 employees (120 salaried, 80 Technicians)

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent

  • 10 years’ experience in the Human Resources Function, with experience managing client groups and managing a team of HR partners, HR generalists and HR specialists.

  • Must possess strong skills/experience in business partnering.

  • Strong talent management, leadership development, performance management, and org development experience.

  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and delivery with proven, measurable results for managing change.

  • Demonstrated success in creating an environment of trust with clients where integrity is unquestioned; can effectively utilize negotiation and conflict resolution skills when needed.

  • Ability to analyze HR metrics for use in developing goals and driving key business strategies and objectives.

  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communications skills with all levels of the organization required.

  • Experienced in working in an international, multicultural environment, passionate about diversity & inclusion

  • Pro-active, conscientious, and highly collaborative

  • Fluent Italian and min. C1 English
