Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management : Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, acting as the main point of contact between the client and internal teams. Sales and Revenue Growth : Achieve sales targets and strategic account objectives. Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and work on upselling and cross-selling Red Hat’s solutions. Customer Advocacy : Act as an advocate for the client within Red Hat, ensuring their needs are met and their issues are resolved promptly and effectively. Strategic Planning : Develop and execute strategic account plans tailored to each client’s needs and business objectives. Performance Monitoring : Track and report on key performance metrics, preparing regular updates and forecasts for internal stakeholders. Problem Solving : Handle customer complaints and issues in a timely manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Market Analysis : Conduct industry and market analysis to anticipate client needs and recommend appropriate Red Hat solutions.

Qualifications

Experience : Proven work experience as a Strategic Account Manager or in a similar role, preferably in a B2B environment. Technical Skills : Proficiency with CRM software and account management systems. Understanding of sales performance metrics is essential. Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with clients effectively and build strong relationships. Sales Acumen : Strong sales and negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude. Education : A Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a related field is typically required. Travel : Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend relevant events.

The salary range for this position is $281,650.00 - $464,830.00 (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation). Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
