- Meet and instruct assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated.
- Align and implement approved Curriculum
- Assess accomplishment of students on a regular basis
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials to provide individual and group instruction.
- Create a positive learning environment through displays, bulletin boards and interest centers.
- Keep appropriate records and prepare progress reports.
- Communicate with parents through a variety of means including conferences.
- Participate in professional development activities.
- Attend required meetings.
- Select, requisition and inventory appropriate books and instructional aids.
- Supervise students during work day.
- Work cooperatively with other staff.
- Prepare for class and provide written evidence as requested.
- Make referrals of students when necessary as determined by need.
- Manage classroom behaviors appropriately.
- Maintain and improve professional competence.
- Keep confidentiality and respect student privacy.
- Keep pastor informed of appropriate issues.
- Make decisions for the best interested of the school and within board policies and MO Non-Public School Accreditation.
- Promote positive relations between the Church and Community.
- Work to Achieve School goals adopted by the board.
- Execute all policies, rules, and regulations adopted by the Board.
- Perform all duties as assigned to maintain order and safety.
- Supervise employees.
- Maintain inventory.
- Organize and conduction kindergarten screenings.
- Supervise maintenance of and complete all required records/reports/legal documents.
- Keep informed of education funding.
- Other duties as assigned by the Board.
