The Job:

As a Customer Supply Chain Director, you’ll be part of our Tools & Outdoor team working as a virtual in employee. You’ll get to:

  • Manage a diverse team of Customer Supply Chain Managers and analysts in multiple business locations. Scope of Director role will cover all SBUs which SBD sells into Lowe’s, including Power Tools, Hand Tools, Accessories, Storage, Fastening, and Outdoor Power Equipment.

  • Lead and advocate as the Voice of the Customer at all key internal Operations and Commercial meetings.

  • Business owner responsible for ensuring customer supply chain metrics are met while supporting sales and marketing. Maintain Customer Scorecards to achieve KPIs (UFR, Forecast Accuracy, and Item Out of Stocks, Customer In-stock %, and Compliance to name a few.)

  • Maximize Order to Cash by progressing to “Down in a Day” Order Management and achieving weekly 95% Drop to Target cycle times.

  • Lead the Day-to-Day Supply Chain relationship with the Customer by forging and maintaining a collaborative relationship with the Lowe’s Inventory Replenishment and Demand Planning Teams.

  • Interact as necessary with SBD Sales Teams, Channel Teams and Lowe’s Merchants to plan various promotional executions. Act as the lead POC for SBD as it relates to forecasting promotional activities and working with various internal teams and the customer to execute these plans on time and in full.

  • Provide internal consultation for all Supply Chain, Order Fulfillment, and Logistical needs to SBD Sales and Finance teams. Part of the core Internal Customer team responsible for delivering monthly, quarterly and annual billing estimate for SBD.

  • Provide support for Transportation and Logistical activities by liaising with SBD Transportation and DC teams and corresponding customer teams, as needed.

  • Team will be responsible for tracking and reporting Supply Chain Customer Compliance and developing processes and business model to mitigate compliance fines.

  • Drive improvements to our demand forecast, on-time and in full (OTIF) delivery rates, and overall customer relationship.

The Person:

  • 9+ years Customer Operations, Supply Chain experience.

  • 5+ years People Leader experience.

  • BA/BS Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Mgt, or related required, MBA Preferred.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving ability. Strong attention to detail required.

  • Action Oriented and Independent.

  • Effective project management skills.

  • People training, leadership and development skillset.

  • Ability to effectively communicate to both internal and external (Customer) stakeholders with confidence and clarity. Comfortable presenting across all levels of the organization.

  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, SAP, Business Warehouse. SAP/IBP a plus).

  • Strong cross-functional supply chain process knowledge, including an operational understanding of order fulfillment, distribution, transportation.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in IBP.

  • Ability Travel up to 20% (mostly to Huntersville and/or Towson).
