BorgWarner Inc. Manufacturing Engineer in Torreon, Mexico
Continuous process improvement through OMS, variation reduction, shainin, etc.
Maintenance support in assigned processes
Design a safe work environment, evaluating and eliminating unsafe conditions in the processes
Maintain updated engineering documents (PFD, PFMEA, and PCP) that make up the ppap package and evaluation of validation runs
Eliminate all forms of waste through the application of lean manufacturing concepts
Actively participate in line side reviews or RPFMEA
Generate and maintain updated work instructions
Reduction of scrap and ftq through analysis of largest contributors
Support for continuous improvement in OE% performance
Reduction of rpn's through multidisciplinary analysis
Comply with and monitor environmental guidelines, policies and procedures, related to the activities of your operation
Participate in training programs, health and safety procedures, as well as promote a safety culture
Comply with the engineering training matrix
Update of multiples of direct material as appropriate to the area
Follow-up on customer complaint response activities
Implement process controls to avoid customer complaints
Keep 5s implemented in your workplace
Evaluate and implement activities to improve the capabilities of production processes (PP, CP, PPk and CPk)
