Mercury Systems Intermediate Micro Electronic Assembler in Torrance, California

As a Micro Electronic Assembler, you will perform a wide variety of assembly and subassemblies operations on varies communication and video systems including chip and wire assembly under a microscope and SMT soldering. Determine and/or follow methods and sequence of operations. Make setups, adjustment and certifications of assembly equipment as required. Perform the various tasks necessary to assemble electronic assemblies for production. Job Responsibility: * Provide inputs to Production documentation * Disassembling, modifying, reworking, re-assembling assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and routers * Prepares assembly work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, schematics and blueprint specifications * Use a microscope for up to 8 hours a day for assembling small parts * Must continuously meet/exceed production schedules and deadlines according to quality standards * Maintain logs and paperwork and forms accurately consistent with company policies and procedures * Other duties as assigned by management Required Qualification: * High School Diploma or equivalent * Certified to solder per IPC-J-STD, CLASS III * Experience using a microscope * Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) * Familiarity with industry standard ESD practices * 3+ years of experience Preferred Qualification: * Ability to multi-task and work in a flexible and changing environment. * Good written and oral communication skills * Enthusiastic, cooperative and positive team-oriented behavior * Problem solving skills Full-Time Equivalent Annual Salary Range: $41,800 - $83,600 for a Level II at Torrance CA USA. The disclosed salary range is a general guideline for Mercury team members employed at the job level at the location listed above and does not include overtime for eligible hourly employees.
