Rocket Science VFX Sales & Marketing Coordinator in Toronto, Ontario
Established in 2003, Rocket Science is an Emmy nominated boutique visual effects studio collaborating with filmmakers to create stunning visual imagery utilizing artistry, science and technology. Located in Toronto, Canada, television credits include Tim Burton’s celebrated WEDNESDAY (Netflix), Eric Kripke’s superhero series THE BOYS (Amazon), Rian Johnson’s POKER FACE (Peacock), and the global hit sensation from Mike Flanagan, THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER (Netflix). Our Sales & Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of various marketing efforts to promote Rocket Science.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate the creation of marketing content showcasing RSVFX’ best work, including sales collateral, demo reels and social media posts/graphics
Execute targeted advertising and social media campaigns to develop community engagement
Collaborate with sales team to provide marketing and sales administrative support
Support People and Culture in administrative related tasks

Assist in preparing client communications and press releases for external publication
Assist in internal communication and promote company inclusive and positive culture
Coordinate participation in industry conferences and trade shows, including booth design and marketing materials, as required
Occasional work outside of business hours may be necessary
Reception coverage may be required at times
Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in marketing and/or administrative support role in the creative industry
Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma specializing in Marketing/Communication
Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, content creation, and social media marketing
Excellent written and verbal communication
Superior skill-set in organization, problem-solving, time-management, multi-tasking, and operating in a fast-paced manner
Strong knowledge of social media management (Instagram, LinkedIn, X)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Basic knowledge of graphic design software (Photoshop, Illustrator) is an asset
General understanding of visual effects and post-production processes is an asset
CRM knowledge is beneficial
