What you can expect to do here:

  • You’ll provide dedicated support to the Environmental Planning team.

  • You’ll complete quality reviews, and format, and prepare documents, including proposals, technical reports, letters, and memoranda.

  • You’ll attend and prepare minutes for meetings.

  • You’ll ensure regular updates to core documentation (e.g., curriculum vitae, protocols, digital resources) are undertaken efficiently to assist in productivity and team performance.

  • Plan and coordinate meetings held in and out of the office.

  • Organize travel arrangements for the team members: bookings of flights, hotels, and car rentals.

  • You’ll provide administrative support to other project teams and business units, as required.

  • As an integral part of the administration team, you’ll be required to develop an understanding of the business and the operations to provide appropriate assistance.

  • You’ll be a key administrative resource in the local office, performing an assortment of day-to-day tasks to ensure the office operates in a smooth manner (e.g., coordination with the WSP Facilities and Information Technology teams, package shipments, office supplies inventory/orders, etc.).

  • You’ll be part of a supportive team with opportunities to grow.

What you’ll bring to WSP:

  • Post-secondary diploma in business administration or a related discipline is preferable.

  • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or other relevant experience providing administrative support.

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft and MS O365 applications (Word, SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

  • Ease in adopting new tools.

  • Can-do attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong decision-making, prioritizing and multi-tasking skills.

  • Self-starter and resourceful.

  • Exercise mature judgment and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information and situations.
