You will be responsible for the creation of process orders, managing and executing orders for Bulk & Raw ingredient materials for the plant, and maintaining floor & system inventory accuracy. Through this you will provide an uninterrupted supply of materials for the manufacturing process while preventing waste & following all policies and procedures of the company.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Work effectively with internal (production & supply planning teams, procurement, plant warehouse & logistics teams, plant BD-business development and other multi-functional resources) & external stakeholders (suppliers, transportation, vendors etc.) to ensure consistent and reliable supply of materials for production use in accordance to our standards, procedures and protocols. Proactively and timely report any production or Vendor/shipping/carrier issues, and enlist supplier, transporter, planning teams to pre-empt any business impact and/or accommodate changes production and/or delivery schedules as appropriate.

  • Execute MRPs-Material requirement planning systems, Defining & maintaining boundaries and parameters, Materials call offs processes; RM/PM – raw & packing materials and finish product supply chain set up for new products in collaboration with BD; Vendor conformance to schedule, Build self and other Key User’s capability on SAP planning systems; Manage inventory for RM & PM and FP as per KPI targets, Plant DMS participation and alignment for Operational excellence, Support IBP preparation & dashboard completion, Adhering to Manufacturing compliance and governance standards.

  • Adopt IL6S-Integrated Lean 6 sigma ways of working and standard work processes and own one or more Pillar systems/ processes at the site/ area level. Actively participate in SN-Supply Network pillar activities and lead systems and projects to drive Supply Chain Loss Analysis and elimination; work on Supply Network capabilities to drive value and loss elimination.

  • Relevant work experience in material planning, demand planning, inventory management & handling, purchasing, and/or Forecasting,

  • Computer proficiency (MS Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & experience in ERP (SAP) systems

  • Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written), Analytical & Problem solving skills, strong collaboration and relationship management skills.

What you need to know about this position:

  • You independently operate and maintain at least one process, equipment or systems and use your technical skills to improve line and/or system performance to meet business needs.

  • You will maintain equipment to deliver on our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets.

  • You will use and execute all standard work processes on your equipment and ensure that safety processes are observed, and that quality assurance activities are performed.

  • You will understand the losses in respective area and equipment and report them.

  • Collaborating well in a diverse work environment;

  • Responsible for using CMMS to plan all maintenance work performed. Manages the life-cycle of Work Requests, PMI and PM Work Orders; and uses effective KPI’s and feedback methods to ensure a successful PM program. Updates standard work, monitors job completion, and ensures correct usage of CMMS by the Trades in order to complete work orders and transact in CMMS as required.

  • Directly responsible for ensuring PM plans are scheduled and completed in a timely and appropriate manner. Ensures compliance to Work Order Compliance KPI’s and the output of inspection schedules for PM and PdM routines are tracked and completed. Responsible for ensuring compliance to governmental and corporate requirements.

  • Actively participates, supports and ensures compliance with all safety initiatives within the manufacturing location.

  • Ensures the planning of all maintenance activities are performed taken into account constrains on safety, food safety, energy/water consumption at factory level by analyzing the potential impact of any variable (e.g. high risk activities, spare parts quality, materials, etc).

  • Facilitates the development of an effective weekly maintenance schedule in conjunction with Production Planning, Scheduling and the appropriate Maintenance, and Engineering colleagues. Completes job plans with manpower scheduling and parts verification per company standards.

  • Support the technical stores management through a proper link between the planned maintenance activities and the required spare parts, in advance, to help the whole technical store optimization process.

  • Ensures that correct parts and consumables are included in all job plans Responsible for ensuring food safety and that products are produced in accordance with GMPs and SOPs. Ensuring all quality related issues are communicated to the Quality Department. Responsible for equipment hierarchy, criticality and completeness to ensure the PM programs effectiveness. Apply IL6S principles to Planning functions and ensure development of Equipment History and BOM’s. Develops the master plans for Overhauls and turnarounds; Manages respective area mechanics hours in Kronos system; Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Responds to any after hour call from respective area mechanic or production team leader; Work with mechanics and HR team for any HR related work;

Education / Certifications:

Techinal College Degree (preferred)

Job specific requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience on a similar role.
