What We Offer

  • $76.16/Hour
  • Schedule: 1-3 days/week in Toppenish location only; hours between 7:30 am - 6:30 pm.

As a Pharmacist - Per Diem, some of your responsibilities will be to:

  • Dispense prescriptions accurately
  • Oversee pharmacy staff and ensure that they work only within the scope of practice and duties of their licensure
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required; Pharm D Degree is preferred

Experience

  • Experience in community or ambulatory pharmacy practice is preferred

Licenses:

  • Washington's Pharmacist License
  • Valid Driver's License and proof of automobile liability insurance coverage

Skills

  • Understand the professional expectations associated with the pharmacist's role
  • Knowledgeable about community pharmacy practice and drug therapy
  • Detail-oriented team player in fast-paced settings
  • Your working knowledge of inventory management is a plus
  • Current understanding of State and Federal Pharmacy Laws
  • Customer-oriented communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work while performing multiple tasks requiring attention to detail, with frequent interruptions
  • Your intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of at least one pharmacy software system with the ability to learn new ones

Drug testing: This position requires testing for controlled substances before employment and you will also be subject to further testing throughout employment.
