Amazon is looking for a customer-obsessed product manager with a critical mission to make buying and selling easier and safer on Amazon Marketplace, one of the fastest growing business domains in Amazon Stores.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on product manager who excels at product management. The business coverage is broad, and you will: 1) dive deep into data to identify and prioritize what matters most for the business, 2) quantify what is working (or not working) focusing on inputs/insights, and 3) own and drive product/program improvement and new product launches by influencing stakeholders and senior executives around the world.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience as a product manager or owner

  • Experience owning technology products

  • Strong SQL and data analysis skills

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

  • Fluent in English both verbal and written

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent prioritization skills

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, and respond flexibly to changes, in a fast paced, international environment

  • Strong business acumen to know: what, when and how to escalate to quickly align and move things forward

  • Experience leading cross-functional projects with a broad set of stakeholders such as: Product, Tech, Legal, Public Policy, Customer/Seller Support, Sales, Marketing, BI and Finance

  • Japanese language skill
