Google Account Manager, Large Customer Sales, App/Performance in Tokyo, Japan

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting or media.

  • Ability to communicate in Japanese and English fluently to communicate with local and regional partners, customers, and stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in online ad sales, business-development, marketing, or consulting sales.

  • Experience in Google Ads account management.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent leadership, organization, communication, and teamwork skills.

As the Account Manager, you will develop and manage relationships directly with advertisers. You are an advisor and consultant, as well as an advocate for clients within Google. You will use your analytical skills and communication skills to grow existing business, develop and gain new business, and support the team with account and market knowledge and other collateral.Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

  • Be a trusted business partner for client marketing solutions.

  • Provide excellent customer service to Google's advertisers, identify, and solve client problems proactively and creatively.

  • Learn and work with Google's ongoing development of advertiser products to optimize client campaign results.

  • Optimize Google Ads in order to maximize results for advertisers.

  • Leverage resources, including optimization, marketing, and technical support. Identify opportunities to increase advertiser performance and investment.
