Veritas’ Worldwide Sales and Marketing team propels company growth by driving all aspects of sales and marketing, including direct and channel sales, global sales enablement and all marketing functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for meeting assigned Sales Quota
  • Responsible for creating account plans to nurture and develop opportunities to drive your revenue targets
  • Sell the Veritas offerings and/or services by developing relationships with decision makers and individuals within assigned market to drive new business
  • Maintain relationships with key customer executives
  • Act as the primary sales contact for those customers/partners representing Veritas
  • Develop key strategies to create strong virtual team/resources to maximize sales within the assigned territory
  • Actively build a strong network with key partner companies who are actively selling into the assigned territory

Experience:

  • Minimum 4+ years’ sales and/or account management experience in IT software/hardware sales.
  • Proficiency in English and Japanese language
  • At least 3 years successful proven track record selling into large enterprise accounts
  • Experience in the management of business relationships with customers in a customer-facing role
  • Has a strong Network of Strategic Partners focused on large enterprise accounts, especially in energy and manufacturing sectors
  • Strong track record of achievement against quota.
  • Currentcontacts/relationshipsand working business knowledge of assigned customers/territory.
  • Strong business and executive level sales acumen. Tangible examples required.
  • Excellent time management, presentation, written and oral skills.
  • Ability to map Veritas offerings against customer needs and to identify new opportunities within your assigned territory.
  • Understand the importance of Account plan, and clearly utilize them to drive success.
  • Has understanding of operational cadence in their specific areas.
  • Ensures operating within compliance from a process, legal and revenue recognition.
  • Presents themselves in a professional manner, being a representative of their organization.
  • Demonstrable overachievement in all areas – personal, quota and development.
  • Familiarity with the Veritas strategy and offerings would be desirable.
  • A Strong Communicator with Excellent Public speaking and Presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
