Description

The Cloud Solutions Architect will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions for our clients. This role requires deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and a proven track record in cloud architecture and solution delivery. The Cloud Solutions Architect will work closely with the Strategic Services team, including vCIOs and SAMs, to develop and implement cloud strategies that align with our clients' business goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and Implement Cloud Solutions:Develop comprehensive cloud strategies and solutions for clients, ensuring alignment with their business objectives and technical requirements.

• Client Engagement:Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful cloud adoption and integration.

• Technical Leadership:Provide technical leadership and expertise in Microsoft Azure, including architecture, deployment, and management.

• Project Management:Lead cloud migration and implementation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

• Documentation and Reporting:Maintain detailed documentation of cloud architectures, configurations, and project plans. Provide regular reports on project status and outcomes.

• Training and Support:Provide training and support to clients and internal teams on cloud solutions and best practices.

• Continuous Improvement:Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends. Propose and implement improvements to enhance our cloud services offering.

• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.

• Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud architecture and solutions delivery, specifically with Azure Architecture.

• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, including relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

• Technical Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of cloud computing principles and practices.

• Expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture, services, and tools.

• Experience with cloud migration, deployment, and management.

• Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI) is a plus.

• Project Management:Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully leading cloud projects.

• Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Problem-Solving:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.

• Collaboration:Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, clients, and vendors.

• Valid driver’s licenses and vehicle

• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Preferred Skills

• Certifications:Additional cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform) are a plus.

• Soft Skills:Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.

• Previous Solutions Architect experience
