Actalent Quality Engineer in Timmonsville, South Carolina

Job Description

Seeking dedicated Quality Engineers with a keen eye for detail and a passion for excellence in the automotive parts industry. One position will focus on Weld suppliers while the other will concentrate on plastics suppliers. The successful candidates will lead in-depth analysis of quality issues, collaborate with suppliers to address and resolve defects, and oversee quality assurance processes. Responsibilities include taking swift action to mitigate impact on manufacturing departments, preparing and submitting detailed technical reports, setting technical specifications for part changes, and leading Quality Assurance Visits to ensure the implementation of effective countermeasures. Candidates will also mentor new associates, perform judgment and disposition of non-conforming parts, and approve supplier modifications prior to production.
