The role.

Mission

• Manage INNOMOTICS Commodity Team globally (GCE network)

• Ensure and improve for INNOMOTICS the Quality of goods from external suppliers in the dedicated commodity.

Manage efficient Commodity Engineering Team globally.

• Drive the transformation of the Commodity strategy as part of the Global Commodity Team

• Optimize supplier portfolio together with procurement for the efficient use of resources

• Coordinate measures to qualify supplier and material in the Commodity

• Frequently align in the respective GCE network actions to bundle and streamline activities at suppliers

• Drive knowledge exchange about supplier in the GCE network

• Define targets in the commodities and if applicable per supplier incl. KPI's

Optimize cross-functional collaboration to transmit technical requirements to supplier reducing risks at supplier

• Provide and actively bring in special Commodity know how in the Commodity Team and the GCE network

• Stipulate actively knowledge exchange with R&D / EN globally to understand product and customer requirements

• Active live the collaboration with Procurement and OPS to optimize cost position and process time

Implement SQM relevant processes within INNOMOTICS to provide sustainable high delivery Quality to all INNOMOTICS factories.

• Coordinate and execute Supplier audits and determine the need Quality Agreements for INNOMOTICS

• Implement preventive quality methods and measures within INNOMOTICS to ensure sustainable Quality at suppliers

• Use SQM related methods and risk management in supplier related processes, projects and products (8D, RCA, APQP, FMEA)

• Ensure qualification and risk prevention for materials, especially for GVS & Multiple Sourcing materials/products/suppliers

• Drive and optimize together with technical responsible departments localization projects and qualification activities

• Provide Q-relevant SQM-KPIs for INNOMOTICS to develop suppliers and fulfill reporting requirements

Develop SQM to a main contributor to business success to reduce costs, risks and cost of non-conformance

• Ensure and continuously improve Quality globally of suppliers and their deliveries

• Ensure qualification and risk prevention for materials, especially for GVS-material / GVS-product-suppliers

• Communicate and coordinate measures at supplier to improve Quality

• Participate in solving Q-issues with supplier in collaboration with R&D / EN

• Establish in the dedicated Commodity action plan with targets to improve Quality and ensuring delivery times

Your profile.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in an engineering discipline.

• More than 5 years of experience in Metallic materials like bearing, sleeve bearing, cooper and cooper ally etc.

• More than 3 years of experience in Quality Management function

• Expert knowledge of roller/sleeve bearing manufacturing, cooper, and cooper alloy manufacturing.

• Knowledge and experience in large steel fabrication and sheet metal part is a plus.

• IWE (international welding engineer) is preferred

• Experience in Leading teams

• Knowledge on INNOMOTICS process and products is beneficial

• Experience in Qualification of suppliers and parts (8D, FMEA, Control plan, MSA, SPC methods, VDA 6.3 audits)

• Certificate of ISO 9001, VDA 6.3, NDT certificate is preferred.

• Fluency English language (German beneficial).

• Excellent communication skills, intercultural awareness

• Ability to work in cross-functional teams by usage of state-of-the-art communication platforms / methods

• Good knowledge of problem-solving methods and continuous improvement methods.

• Ability to perform regular business trips (national and international)

• Personal initiative, quality, and result orientation.
