The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and monitoring all clinical functions for the partial hospital program.

Job Duties / Essential Functions

1. Maintain awareness of the KidsPeace continuum of services and actively promote the internal transfer and referral of children and families whenever clinically indicated by attending bi-annual training on the continuum and communicating with associates between levels of care and actively seeking opportunities to share information about the continuum with consumers as evidenced by written documentation in the client record.

2. Provide clinical guidance and/or debriefings for crisis situations.

3. Assist with clinical coverage as needed (IT, FT, and group).

4. Attend ITT Meetings and ensure meetings are focused, comprehensive, and appropriate in goal and discharge planning.

5. Ensure continued risk assessment and risk management related to each individual child and to the overall assigned program.

6. Maintain fiscal awareness regarding census and budget-related issues

7. Coordinate consultations, assessments, admissions, and utilization reviews with the noted departments, as needed

8. Provide routine training to MHWs and clinicians progress notes and documentation standards. 20. All other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications (Education, Training and Experience)

1. Master’s Degree in a related clinical discipline and appropriate licensure preferred.

2. Minimum of 3 years of direct supervision in a clinical setting required.

3. Minimum of 2 years of direct treatment experience with children / adolescents required.
