Amazon Freight Less-Than-Truckload is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead our Shipper Success and Flow team, delivering an improved experience for vendors and sellers who ship with Amazon Inbound Transportation. As Amazon continues to drive innovation within transportation and logistics, we need to evaluate our current network shipper defects and drive improvement through shipper coaching, performance management, and planning.

This role is responsible for improving the end-to-end shipper experience for Amazon Freight Less-Than-Truckload (AF LTL). In this role the Supply Chain Manager will lead a team of associates directly responsible for driving operational improvements with AF LTL's shippers. We focus on learning, innovating and having fun at work, and are customer-focused, with a direct line of engagement with our users.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead shipper coaching and collaboration initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency.

  • Hire and develop a team responsible for monitoring and improving shipper performance with Amazon Freight Less-Than-Truckload.

  • Partner with stakeholder teams to build out a roadmap of data and technology solutions to enable your team’s success.

  • Determine root cause of operational challenges, drive process improvements, un-earth opportunities and present findings and recommendations to business partners and leadership

About the team

In this role, the Supply Chain Manager will be on the Amazon Freight Less-Than-Truckload (AF LTL) Shipper Support team. AF LTL is a rapidly growing transportation start-up within Amazon. Our vision is to build a profitable, commercial LTL service that drives the Amazon flywheel and delights shippers with the most reliable, convenient, transparent and competitively priced service in the industry.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of team management experience

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

  • 3+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

  • Experience in data mining, data management, reporting, and SQL queries
