Honeywell Sr Advanced Project Engineer - Hardware in Tempe, Arizona

Join our engineering team at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, where we are shaping the future of our products. You will work closely with engineering and project management leaders, as well as the AES Hardware Management team, to manage hardware within AES for New Product Development (NPD) and Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP) projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support NPD projects by ensuring hardware deliverables are met at Honeywell sites

  • Coordinate between the AES Hardware Management team and NPD project team on hardware cost, schedule, milestones, and risks

  • Communicate with internal and external customers and suppliers regarding NPD project hardware status

  • Utilize Honeywell's SAP system for Hardware Management

  • Manage hardware resources associated with the project using the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Control Account Management (CAM)

  • Perform demand planning, entry, and Inter-Divisional Order (IDO) demand

  • Provide status updates, reports, and analysis on hardware milestones

  • Develop the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for hardware

  • Analyze and evaluate Manpower Allocation Tool (MAT) data

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (sciences, technology, engineering, business, or mathematics)

  • Knowledge and practical experience with SAP

  • Ability to work at either the Honeywell Tempe, AZ or Honeywell Aguadilla Puerto Rico site
