Job Title: Collections Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a Collections Specialist to join our team. This temp-to-hire role involves managing accounts, ensuring collection efficiency, and maintaining excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

  1. Achieve 95% or better in account collections.

  2. Meet collection goals (contacts per day, repossession inventory, past due budget).

  3. Process customer drafts, fee waivers, and deferrals.

  4. Order credit bureau reports or initiate skip tracing.

  5. Document all collection efforts.

  6. Process electronic payments.

  7. Update management on problem accounts.

  8. Provide general customer service.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Excellent written, verbal, and telephone communication skills

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities

  • Proficiency in MS Office

  • Interpersonal skills and teamwork

Preferred:

  • Collections experience

  • Knowledge of collections/repossession

  • Bilingual in Spanish

Details:

  • Type: Temp to Hire

  • Hours: Mon-Thurs (8am-5pm or 10am-7pm); Fri (8am-6pm)

  • Pay: $ 19.00/hr

Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
