Job Title: Assembly Technician

Job Description

We are seeking assembly technicians at different levels of expertise to join our team. The Assembly Technician will be responsible for safely and efficiently troubleshooting and installing mechanical items on dump trucks and trailers. This includes drilling holes in steel frames, bolting on parts, running and feeding electrical wiring and hoses, zip-tying wires, taking accurate measurements, making electric & hydraulic connections, plumbing, understanding air systems & operations, basic welding, installing consoles and pumps, and performing large assembly installations such as tanks and saddles. They will also be responsible for touching up paint and outfitting electrical bodies.

Hard Skills

  • Drilling holes and bolting parts

  • Running/Feeding electrical wiring and hoses

  • Electric & Hydraulic connection / plumbing

  • Basic understanding of air systems & operations

  • Basic welding

  • Console Installation

  • Pump Installation

  • Large assembly installation

  • Touch up paint

  • Body electrical outfit

  • Ability to read service and repair manuals

  • Ability to read blueprints or schematics

  • Ability to read a tape measure and calculate differences in measurements

  • Ability to Weld in flat and vertical planes (all position welding)

Soft Skills

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to learn and work in a team environment

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Tempe, Arizona.
