Amazon Applied Science Manager, Selling Partner Communities (SPC) in Tempe, Arizona
Description
The Selling Partner Communities (SPC) team’s north star vision is to ensure every selling partner (SP) is satisfied with their experience selling in the Amazon store. We look holistically at the seller experience through the voice of the seller – both in conversations they have directly with Amazon, and each other, to identify opportunities to improve the SP experience.
As the Applied Science Manager, you will own and drive the science team's charter, working backwards from seller problems and product strategy to develop a long-term science vision and plan. You will guide your team in creating and deploying sophisticated algorithms and models that drive measurable improvements in seller experience and business metrics. This includes enhancing our Seller Forums, Seller News, Strategic Seller Communications, Amazon Seller Social Media presence, and our flagship Accelerate conference.
A successful candidate is also passionate about driving innovation and shaping the future of seller communities, with the ability to operate like a startup within Amazon - moving quickly, experimenting rapidly, and adapting to changing business needs. You should be comfortable spearheading the development of innovative, ML, LLM and generative AI-driven solutions, and be a trusted partner who can energize our cross-functional team of scientists, engineers, product and business leaders to persevere through challenges and achieve impactful results on behalf of our selling partners.
