The Role
We're looking for a Senior Consultant, Insurance Consulting who can deliver within Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence, which are: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Senior Consultant, you will analyze our insurance clients' business and technology challenges and build creative solutions to drive transformation. You will be responsible for participating in the requirements analysis process, developing strong working relationships with clients and team members, and building industry and domain expertise. Specifically, as a Senior Consultant, you have the opportunity to deliver immediate value to clients by working with a project-based team of consultants.

Responsibilities:
* Providing consulting services, including practices, expertise, and resources to tackle business challenges, and helping identify and manage needed process improvements (including identification of new or improved business capabilities)
* Domain expertise in Life and Group insurance space.
* Working knowledge of billing domain, experience with COTS is plus
* Develop a vision for the finance division and realizing the vision through large scale transformations encompassing finance process redesign, service delivery model development, and technology implementations.
* Review the quality of documented stories and assess the Acceptance criteria to ensure they are meeting the guidelines.
Work with the BA team and Tech Leads to ensure requirements are clear.
* Work with BA team to ensure they are owning the demo of the system to business users during Sprint demo, UAT.
* Work with technical team to triage the defects and help in root cause analysis. Streamline process to minimize defects due to missed requirements.
* Ability to support account team to publish multiple reports to keep Cognizant leadership informed.
* Ability to think out of box and generate new ideas to do things better.

Qualifications:
* At least 5+ years of Life and Annuity insurance experience with working experience in finance transformation & Process improvements.
* Exposure to working on transformation programs within Insurance domain with expertise in FP&A or Finance Strategy.
* Should possess people management in meeting the career aspirations of the BA team, implementing training to keep the team upgraded on the latest tools and techniques.
* Should have consulting skills, including effective communication, expectation management, and results delivery.
* Experience in managing a team of Business Analysts and lay out clear guidelines on how the outputs of discovery session should be converted to requirements so that they can be readily consumed by technical team to develop.
* Proven ability to be a "servant leader" in a non-hierarchical environment, adopting an Agile attitude that evolves with the business.
* Coach/hire experienced consultants and new talent into the practice.

* Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems or similar field.
* Background in Management Education - Master's degree preferred.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 6/20/2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $95,000.00 to $135,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
