Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our local flooring distributor and sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving trucks with trailers, engaging in manual labor such as shoveling, and lifting items into dumpsters and trucks. Additionally, the ability to use a saw is a valuable bonus. The role requires maintaining a clean driving record and exhibiting honesty and professionalism, especially when entering clients' homes. The position operates Monday through Friday, with typical weekly hours ranging from 40 to 45 hours.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, stage, and load customer orders.

• Receive inventory and inspect products for damage, stock products to bin locations.

• Verify orders for accuracy and quality at every stage of receiving and shipping process.

• Operate all equipment necessary for material handling such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other relevant equipment.

• Follow shipping and receiving standard operating procedures for both paperwork and electronic systems processes.

• Organize inventory to meet safety, efficiency, and inventory control standards for storage and transport.

• Delivering customer orders.

• Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required.

Quailifications

• Ability to perform physical requirements in a warehouse environment

• Safely operate warehouse equipment and proper use of PPE

• Good attendance and work ethic

• Ability to perform tasks quickly and accurately

• Minimum 18 years of age required
