Job Description

  • This role will be working full-time at LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam Project site in VSIP 3, Binh Duong

Core Responsibilities

Service and optimization of Building Management System (BMS) and supply systems including cooling, compressed air, ventilation, water treatment.

Technical support to the project management team with electrical installation, pluming installation, cooling system, heading system, compressed air system, humidity system and ventilation systems in collaboration with our suppliers, so that all plants and systems are always in optimal operating condition.

Focus Areas:

  • To ensure solutions are long-lasting and the supplier is challenged both on technology, competences, and delivery time.

  • Lead on service contract with technical vendors

  • To ensure our objectives concerning energy consumption is observed in relation to new equipment.

Mechanical specialist on technical tasks/projects with regard to our users including:

  • Participate in future local & global projects.

  • Handling of and communication with Stakeholders, Steering committee, and users of technical systems.

  • Input and prepare case, budget, timetables, etc.

  • Report to steering committee and boards of directors

  • Continuing handling, prioritization and possibly implementation of amendments

  • Risk management – ongoing evaluation of risks

  • Lead discovery of new technologies and solutions to be implemented in company standards and projects.

Additionally:

  • Be the go-to person for technicians and project managers to get professional discussion regarding technical solutions.

  • Provide support to Facility colleagues and partners at operational problems.

  • Instruct external technicians in our technical installation before work commenced.

Facility Management in LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam will be a high skilled team, where we are in charge of operating & maintaining the BMS, climate control, compressed air, cooling, plumbing and ventilation for our coming factory.

Purpose and focus for this position:

  • Ensure that all technical areas have the necessary technical resources to maintain a high maintenance level as well as competencies to challenge our suppliers to always deliver and install the most optimal solutions as well as provide a professional technical contribution to new projects.

  • All our technical systems are being carried out, delivered, and maintained in a high functional and quality standard and within the timely and financial conditions.

  • Our buildings and production can work satisfactorily while we expand or rebuild technical systems.

To ensure we provide the most suitable solutions for both users and maintenance staff with focus on application and reliability, sustainability as well as economy.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical engineering or equivalent, with experience in handling maintenance and improvement of production facilities is preferred.

  • Minimum 2-3 years with BMS and technical installations, HVAC, Cooling Systems and other technical systems in general and preferably project management and partner management in a complex organization

  • Experience with operation and calculation tasks on technical systems

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills in addition to structured and scientific way of working.

  • Engineer preferably with a craftsman-like background

  • Expert user of Microsoft Office

  • Have an inquisitive mindset especially in correlation to the systems and equipment

  • Keep a sense of perspective and be calm by nature

  • Fluent in both Vietnamese and English
