Duties and Responsibilities: - Supervise staff which maintains temporary or permanent lodging facilities - Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, email, or in person - Providing guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance - Communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization tocustomers, the public, government and other external sources. This information can be exchanged in person, in writing, or by telephone or email - Provide basic information to guests, visitors, or clients - Resolve customer complaints or problems - Conduct employee training programs - Evaluate employee performance - Monitor activities of individuals to ensure safety or compliance with rules - Inspect condition or functioning of facilities or equipment - Performs other related duties as assigned Accountable For: - Timely completion and accuracy of all work - Work closely and harmoniously with other employees - Adherence to contract requirements and GPSI policies - Approve subordinates time sheets and leave requests - Disciplinary action for subordinate employee Minimum Requirements: - Five years' experience in housing and/or apartment management - Two years' demonstrable supervisory experience - Valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record - Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to accommodate a variety of personalities and a wide range of situations - Ability to obtain access to U.S. Government Installations through the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) Preferred Qualifications: - BS Degree in Business Administration or related degree - Five years of Military Family Housing supervisory or management experience - Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Access and Power Point - Knowledge of Military housing and pay policies, instructions and guidelines - Knowledge of Military rank and Military protocol Working Conditions: Work is typically performed indoors and outdoors. Incumbent should be able to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, talk, hear and write. The incumbent should also be able to use limbs and body members with a good range of motion.
