Constructs, erects, install and repair structures and fixtures using such materials as wallboard, or drywall. Reads blueprints, sketches or building plans to determine type of work required and materials needed. Erects framework for structure and lays subfloor board. Install structures or fixtures such as windows frames, flooring, trim, and hardware. Construct forms or chutes for pouring concrete. Use level, rules, plum bobs, framing squares, and surveying equipment to ensure everything is level and secure. Finishes surface of woodwork or wallboard in houses or buildings. *Special Wage Rate: Work to be performed on DPRI-Funded projects covered by Davis Bacon Act, Services Contracts Act, and/or Executive Order 14206 will be paid no less than the indicated wage but may be paid more where special rates apply. #DPRI#
