Strategy & Program Development Director - Carelon Services External Growth
Location: Alternate locations may be considered. This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our PulsePoint locations.
The Strategy & Program Development Director is responsible for coordinating the relationship of a business unit with internal partners to ensure growth and compliance.
How you will make an impact:
Monitors related enterprise initiatives and advises senior management relative to compliance and performance.
Research new ventures/initiatives in support of external growth and prospective revenue expansion opportunities.
Assists in creating growth strategies and annual plans.
Assist in creating and managing annual budget for external growth org
Travels to worksite and other locations, as necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of related experience including 5 years of leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experience:
MBA preferred.
Knowledge and experience in the products and services of the respective industry strongly preferred.
Experience in helping develop strategic and annual plans aligned with growth and compliance objectives, with proven ability to partner with leadership to define strategies and translate them into actionable tactics and priorities preferred.
Skilled in driving cross-organizational projects, supporting business plan and strategy development, with responsibility for planning and project activities preferred.
Competent in collaborating with cross-functional teams to lead annual sales incentive design initiatives, with expertise in leading compensation issues and policy development preferred.
Experience in partnering with teams to lead sales incentive design initiatives, with ongoing leadership in compensation and policy development, ability to lead compensation initiatives including sales incentive plan design, and proficiency in analyzing program impacts and recommending actions to leadership preferred.
Experience in designing processes and systems to support business needs, ensuring function integration, and conducting cost/benefit analyses to support business changes preferred.
Experience in improving intake processes for project prioritization, identifying issues and scope changes, and leading best practices preferred.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills; outstanding leadership in effective communication; excellent organizational skills to handle multiple priorities and projects; and proven ability to thrive in dynamic environments and drive change preferred.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite for data analysis and presentations; proficiency in SharePoint for document management; strong understanding of Salesforce.com preferred.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $139,944 to $239,904
