Job Description

• We are looking for a seasoned Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join our team of experts. You will be an integral part of a 45-person I&C team, working on projects related to municipal water and wastewater treatment plants. Your responsibilities will range from working with project managers and clients, developing scopes of work for I&C systems, leading I&C design teams, designing PLC SCADA networks, selecting instrumentation, preparing ISA data sheets and instrument sites, managing the instrumentation portion of projects, conducting quality management reviews of designs, mentoring and training Staff Instrumentation Engineers, and making site visits. You will also play a key role in client interactions and business development efforts.

Hard Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

• 10+ years experience in control systems

• Experience in designing PLC SCADA networks

• Proficiency in developing scopes of work for I&C systems

• Experience in selecting instrumentation

• Experience in preparing ISA data sheets and instrument sites

• Experience in managing the instrumentation portion of projects

• Experience in conducting quality management reviews of designs

• Experience in mentoring and training Staff Instrumentation Engineers

Soft Skills

• Ability to manage and delegate tasks

• Ability to balance competing project demands and conflicting project requirements

• Excellent decision-making abilities

Job Type

• This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

• This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Tampa, Florida and some days remote.

Work Environment

• Our team understands the importance of work-life balance. That’s why we offer flexible working hours between 7 AM and 6 PM, along with a hybrid work from home schedule based on performance. Travel is minimal and only required when submitting a deliverable and attending a 1-2 day workshop. You'll be a part of a supportive team of 45 I&C professionals located across the country, with 4 based in Florida.
