Job Title: Financial Manager

Job Description

The Financial Manager is responsible for providing fiscal data for the annual budget preparation, managing accounts for projects, and preparing documentation for audits. The role includes month-end responsibilities such as actual analysis, budget preparation, amendments and journal entries, and ensuring correct coding and descriptions. Year-end responsibilities include fund analysis, setup of receivables, analysis and adjustments of indirect costs, and variance analysis. The job also involves coordinating and collaborating with internal teams to determine opportunities for process improvements, which forms the basis for building internal relationships and forecasting program needs.

Hard Skills

  • Experience in internal financial reporting

  • State reporting experience preferred but individuals from corporate backgrounds are also welcome

Soft Skills

  • Ability to collaborate with internal teams

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Work Environment

The work location is at our corporate office in Tampa. This is an on-site position with a hybrid schedule (4 days on-site, 1 day remote) following the training period. The Financial Manager will be reporting directly to the superior.
