Description:

Our client is currently seeking candidates to fill a key role for their aggressive growth strategy. This person will be responsible for starting up a new office in the Tampa area, including client/business development, people development, and operations management. This person will be responsible for hiring staff and procuring work/customers in the Florida market. They will develop MEP business and support the delivery of engineering/technical services.

Responsibilities & Expectations:

o Lead a new office and develop a team (with assistance).

o Supervise and mentor developing leaders.

o Frequent interaction with clients and industry peers.

o Work with principal team on growth strategy.

o Community involvement (industry groups, chamber of commerce, Rotary, etc.)

Qualifications:

o 8+ years of MEP consulting engineering experience

o Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineer

o Professional Engineer (PE)

o Leadership & management skills.

o Ability to generate revenue (has a current set of clients that would work with them at new office)

o Entrepreneurial spirit & growth mindset.

o Desire to have major responsibility within the company.

o Excellent communicator.
