Breakthru Beverage Group Delivery Administrator in Tampa, Florida

Overview

The Delivery Administrator assist with day-to-day operations of Delivery Department, including routing, performance tracking, audits and delivery issues.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 10 am to 8:30 pm (10 hours shifts)

Responsibilities

  1. Monitor delivery fleet.

  2. Assist with updating delivery information in Microsoft AX and Roadnet database to optimize route efficiencies.

  3. Check-out the drivers and helpers after completion of routes.

  4. Communicate daily with sales, customers, and department personnel regarding the status of deliveries.

  5. Record time of departure and arrival

  6. Assist with concerns and special requests as needed via email and phone calls from sales team, drivers and customers.

  7. Assist delivery manager with managerial administration, such as worker’s compensation, employee discipline, and processing driver paperwork.

  8. Scan all invoices and daily paperwork.

  9. Assist with DOT compliance filing and reporting.

  10. Track and input driver data

  11. Audit returns and invoices

  12. Hand out next day routes, keys, record sheets and bills of lading.

  13. Record and track truck maintenance

  14. Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a warehouse/distribution environment

  • Basic PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software

  • Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills

  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines

  • Analytic and Reporting skills

  • Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment

  • Familiarity with local freeways and roads

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to remain in a stationary position at times; communicate, and operate a computer and telephone

  • Light to moderate lifting is required

Competencies:

  • Accountable for results which impact the department.

  • Selects best option from a set of defined procedures/ solutions using common sense and experience of similar situations.
