Job Summary:

Data Integration Engineer with hands-on experience in designing and implementing data warehouses and data marts for large financial institutions. Experienced in implementing high-quality solutions using Informatica and related database technology such as DB2, Oracle. Work with business and technology teams to analyze requirements, estimate, plan, and design solutions. Work with onsite and offshore resources for the development and implementation of complex workflows and mappings using AWS cloud-based Enterprise Data Platform, Python, Informatica ETL, Unix shell scripts to satisfy the business requirements. Will also support the portions of the batch cycle and any required changes to the schedule. Will closely work with Chief Data Office (CDO) and Americas Risk Management teams to handle the data analysis requests, internal controls, performance tuning, impact analysis requests. Conduct peer code reviews for all ETL changes. Leverage Bank’s Data Governance, Metadata tools and processes to manage end to end lineage.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, and implementing data warehouse solutions for the Bank utilizing expertise in enterprise data architecture, designs, solutions, and technologies

  • Hands-on expertise in developing Informatica ETL mappings and workflows in complex large-scale data warehouses and data integration Hands-on expertise in developing Informatica ETL mappings and workflows in complex large-scale data warehouse and data integration projects in the banking industry.

  • Design, Code, Test, schedule, and Implement project using ETL or ELT Debug and troubleshoot production issues.

  • Perform design and code reviews, analysis and resolution of service and problem tickets for assigned applications.

  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to assess business, technical, quality and security requirements to achieve intended outcomes in accordance with Bank processes, standards and procedures

  • Developing and maintaining complex ETL mappings, workflows and Unix shell scripts in a normalized/denormalized data warehouse/data mart environment based on technical specifications and other supporting documentation, utilizing Informatica PowerCenter, Unix Shell Scripts, advanced SQL, Python, AWS services and Autosys Enterprise Scheduler, Performing Unit Test, System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Disaster Recovery and regression testing activities

  • Handling user inquiries and providing productions support as well as conducting training and knowledge sharing sessions

  • Ensuring best practices, standards, processes and procedures are followed; Create and maintain technical specifications, flowcharts, mapping specifications, data dictionaries, metadata, and lineage documents.

  • Communicate with business users and evaluate requirements to understand project objectives, scope and conduct formal requirement walkthroughs and obtain user concurrence.

  • Understand data lineage across complex current state system environments and target state.

Qualifications:

  • 7 years of technical software development experience implementing Enterprise Datawarehouse with ETL using Informatica

  • 5 years of experience must be in the banking or financial services domain with ETL development using Informatica PowerCenter; Unix Shell Scripting; designing relational and dimensional databases; and developing and scheduling batch jobs using Cisco Tidal Enterprise Scheduler or Autosys

  • 1 year of experience must include core banking products & services (loans, deposits, and treasury); developing scripts using Python, HIVE or AWS.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience

The typical base pay range for this role is between $110K - $134K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
