Grow your career as a Data Analytics Project Manager with an innovative global bank. Contract role with strong possibility of extension. Will require working a hybrid schedule 2-3 days onsite per week.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s/University degree.

• 10+ years of Financial Services experience with experience in a related technology/business role.

• Experience as Project Manager with strong Data Analytics and Business Analyst background.

• Experience with data management programs and implementing data solutions.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of business analysis.

• Experience delivering technology solutions.

• Experience in Project and Stakeholder Management.

• Excellent documentation, analytical and process-based skills to produce process flow diagrams, business analysis, and functional design.

• Strong SQL experience - able to run queries.

• Experience with all phases of Software Development Life Cycle.

• Knowledge of financial industry regulatory landscape.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) with extensive experience using Excel for data analysis.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Masters degree.

• Experience implementing data solutions.

• Strongly prefer knowledge of big data platform.

What You Will Be Doing

• Take accountability, in partnership with technology leads, for successful delivery of designated projects to agreed schedule, scope and quality. This includes support of project delivery throughout full lifecycle, including through the SIT, UAT and migration phases.

• Establish appropriate stakeholder engagement across Technology, Operations and Product for appropriate contributions to ensure the highest possible value-add project outcomes.

• Work with the Program Manager to ensure project governance and delivery process and methodology is effective, e.g. detailed IT work and milestone plans, schedules with milestones, estimates, resource plans, reporting and clear risk and issue management.

• All required tracking artefacts are regularly updated; toolkit and systems are optimally utilized.

• Apply in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues that have impact beyond own area.

• Ensure standard procedures are followed.

• Creation and maintenance of relevant project artefacts (risk and issues logs, project reports etc.).

• Identify, document, and understand project dependencies.

• Escalate project risks and issues to the Program Manager, Project Director, or Project Sponsor when/where appropriate.

• Creation of project status reports for Stakeholder and Senior management.

• Ensure Program/Project tracking of milestones and iterations are effectively managed as per company standards.
