Citigroup Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst in Tampa, Florida

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Tech Lead Analyst for its Tampa, Florida location.

Duties: Execute application development and maintenance for middle-tier and back-end processes by writing and modifying Unix Shell scripts and database/SQL scripts. Develop and configure applications to leverage the RedHat OpenShift services, and ensure adherence to best practices for scalability, security and performance. Application development and maintenance of front-end and middleware processes using Object Oriented programming languages including Java, HTML5, CSS and related web technologies on RedHat OpenShift platform. Develop all areas of web interface including middleware and persistence layers using Java programming. Provide support for Java programs to facilitate batch and real-time processing. Collaborate with business analysts and other development teams to document requirements, designs and support procedures and efforts using tools such as SharePoint and Jira. Analyze requirements and determine feasibility of integrating solution to existing framework. Implement and manage continuous integrations and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Lightspeed Enterprise API across eSales applications. Document defects and technical specifications for projects in order to assist the support teams with effectively monitoring and maintaining the production processes. Conduct integration tests, regression tests, and user acceptance test. Execute performance tuning, improve code quality, maintain compliance, and resolve vulnerability risks. Implement data security and information security standards using appropriate data protection and encryption techniques. Ensure coordinated and timely delivery of release objectives, and lead the deployment, verification, and monitoring of releases to ensure proper functioning of all delivered enhancements. Ensure adherence to Citi’s software development standards at each phase which includes requirements gathering, design, programming development, testing, and performance tuning. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 5 years of experience as a Programmer Analyst, Associate Software Engineer, or related position involving application development and maintenance of front-end, middle-tier, and back-end processes. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 7 years of the specified progressive post-baccalaureate experience. Full span of experience must include: Web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, JSTL, JSON; Developing batch jobs and scripts for development and maintenance of middle-tier and back-end processes; Writing queries and stored procedures, functions and triggers to process application data, user inputs, and search queries on database; Data security, including encryption and decryption; and Documenting requirements and reporting using SharePoint and Jira. Additionally, 3 years of experience must include: Developing and maintaining all layers of web applications and webservices using Java and associated frameworks that include Spring and Hibernate; Utilizing Docker and Kubernetes to manage applications running on RedHat OpenShift; Data visualization of application performance data and logs for monitoring and performance improvements in Kibana; Unix server; and Oracle database.
