Systems Design and Development is looking for an experienced database administrator to work with a skilled set of professionals developing custom applications for the Florida Governor’s Office of Policy and Budget. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of four (4) years of experience building and maintaining mission critical Oracle databases. Candidates must also have experience and knowledge of database design and modeling.

Also, qualified candidates must have the ability to participate in requirements and design meetings with developers and users and be able to assist any team member determining and solving problems.

Preference will be given to applicants who have a history of working well in a team development environment and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Candidates should have a degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Special Note: During peak workloads, the selected candidate may be required to be on-call and available 24 x 7.
