What you will do

Amgen Taiwan seeks a dynamic marketer to lead launch preparations for a New Portfolio. This newly created role will lead the development of launch plans for our new rare disease portfolio. The candidate will be a self-starter who works well with ambiguity, possesses a strong commercial background, can build strong internal and external relationships, and has experience working across low prevalence specialty therapy areas. This role will report into our Head of Oncology business unit, however as this role will help shape a new portfolio for Amgen Taiwan, they will also be expected to collaborate regularly with our GM, Taiwan Leadership Team, and our Region.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive the strategic planning and execution of launch activities for our new portfolio.

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis and research to develop deep insights.

  • Proactive external engagement to gather information, feedback, and bring external knowledge into Amgen Taiwan.

  • Partner to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, patient advocacy groups, medical societies, and payors.

  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to develop multi-faceted and comprehensive launch plans.

  • Lead all aspects of the budget for launch activities, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.

  • Ensure clear and consistent communication across all levels of the organization regarding launch progress and outcomes.

  • Lead development of field tools, training, and launch materials.

  • Act as an inspirational internal ambassador for this new portfolio; staying informed on industry trends, market changes, and emerging methodologies.

  • Ensure all activities align with local and global compliance and ethical requirements.

What we expect you

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

  • Minimum 5 years of marketing/commercial experience in Biotech, ideally with experience across rare or low prevalence therapy areas.

  • Previous launch experience preferred.

  • Understands core brand strategy; including positioning, segmentation, targeting, insight development, etc.

  • Ability to lead cross-functional partners without direct reporting structure.

  • Organization skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

  • Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills.

  • Highly collaborative; able to thrive in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Executive level presence.

  • Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is desirable.
