Roles and Responsibility

We are recruiting for a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer for their design team.

  • Technically lead and/or execute engineering projects, including development of key suppliers

  • Interface with internal and external customers regarding wide range of complex Technical, Process, Operations issues for specific project

  • Review and drive concepts for range of complex product issues and solutions.

  • Responsible for designing and controlling a specific strategy for Design, development, and implementation and associated processes to enable critical goals throughout the product life cycle.

  • Establishes standards across all operational processes. Serves as technical expert on specialized projects or programs.

  • Specify or perform engineering analysis of complex scope

  • Independent and enthusiastic driver with original concepts

  • Hands on experience on Customer problem solving and customer facing experience would be added advantage.

  • Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers and get them up to speed with the current project status.

  • Prepare and present engineering solution to the management

  • Ability to discern and investigate different engineering options and analyze the best solution based on a variety of considerations.

  • This role requires strong communication, in addition to being comfortable with working independently through ambiguities under minimal guidance and acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Masters or Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering

  • At least 15 years of experience in design of components, semiconductor, or machine tool industry, working with vacuum and clean room environments.

  • Worked on new product development, involved in the product design life cycle from the concept and feasibility phase to prototype development to hand off to high volume manufacturing.

  • Problem identification and troubleshooting a wide range of complex process / manufacturing / Design / Field issues with limited to no supervision.

  • Lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.

  • Leads others to solve complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions.

  • Should be able to create Impact through achievement of operational, project or service objectives, working with in Functional policies.

  • Should be able to Interpret internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services.

  • Fast learner, open to new ideas

  • Excellent communicator can present his/her ideas clearly and can explain the approach to the solution of a technical problem succinctly.
