Job Description

This role is responsible for managing simple finance-related queries via calls, chat, and emails and should be able to manage several conversations at once, while still providing the best possible support to our customers using English language.

  • Answer finance-related queries via calls, chat, and case management tool based on standard operating procedures and methodologies.

  • Provide guidance to AECOM employees in submitting requests in the case management tool.

  • Audit assigned invoices and expense reports in compliance with policies and procedures.

  • Perform assigned processes including but not limited to preparation or reports, reconciliation of designated accounts, and managing aging within the assigned functional areas.

  • Cooperate with senior Finance team members on more complex queries or requests to obtain the resolution.

  • Communicate the final resolution to the requestor as per agreed SLA.

  • Identify areas for process improvement.

  • Escalate identified issues and concerns to the Team Lead for timely resolution.

  • Maintain the SOP/DTP of current processes and incorporate documentation updates as required.

  • Perform multiple routine tasks in compliance with service level agreement, process, policies, and procedures.

  • Gather information and documentation to assist in investigating and in resolving issues within the assigned process.

Qualifications

  • Must be open for a hybrid set-up (AECOM's Freedom to Grow initiative).

  • Must be open for night shift schedule to support Americas Region.

  • Graduate of any 4-year bachelor’s degree related to Finance/Business-related course.

  • At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in a position related to Accounts Payable.

  • Experience with Accounts Receivable is an advantage

  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office tools

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of PO requisitions, processing Purchase requisitions to Purchase orders, vendor master data, and customer master data process.

  • Experience working with Oracle ERP System and Service Now is an advantage but is not required (nice to have).

  • Experience in Travel and Expenses process, Credit card administration, PO and Non-PO invoice

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French
