Job Title: Echo Sonographers Location: Tacoma, WA 98493 Duration: 1 Year to long- term Shifts: Monday through Friday 08:00 A.M. -04:30 P.M. Pay Rate: $55-$60/hr Job Description: Certification by the Medical Sonographer Certification Board and shall receive technical direction from the Cardiology Medical Service. Shall perform, in conjunction with the Contractor's Echo sonographer, treatment planning for performing Echocardiograms, Stress Testing, Treadmill Testing, Bubble Studies, and Definity Studies. Shall perform calculation methods for the delivery of prescribed dose, and subsequent documentation in patient files, and verification of the mathematical accuracy of all calculations using a system established by the Contractor's Echo sonographers. Patient safety incidents must be reported within 24 hours using Patient Safety Report. As soon as practicable (but within 24 hours) Contractors shall notify COR of incident and submit to the COR the Patient Safety Report, following up with COR as required or requested. Adverse drug reactions, allergies, and adverse drug events should be appropriately and promptly entered into CPRS. Echo sonographer staff shall be technically proficient in the skills necessary to fulfill the government's requirements, including the ability to speak, understand, read, and write English fluently. Personnel must have sufficient knowledge and experience working with Client Ultrasound System to perform the services required. Contractor's staff shall demonstrate knowledge of growth and development of patient population. Certification & Qualifications: Registered with American registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
