Responsibilities

The Dock Handler is responsible for safely and efficiently retrieving inventory, sorting, handling and manually loading and unloading merchandise on a pallet, and shrink wrapping in accordance with verbal and written instructions, as well as Federal, State and customer regulations.

 

Duties include but are not limited to:

 

Efficiently wrap and pack merchandise with packing slip or order details for each shipment, while maintaining a quick and steady pace and not compromising accuracy.

Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, or containers by hand or using pallet jacks or other equipment.

Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.

Control and maintain all records required for accurate, on-time completion of shipments.

Work in a team environment to accomplish work assignments.

Support and promote company core values.
