Overview
Helio Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Intensive Crisis Stabilization Center (ICSC)in Syracuse, NY. The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide urgent response and/or treatment services to patients experiencing an acute mental health and/or substance use crisis. The ICSC operates on a 24/7 basis and is currently in need of applicants for overnight shift, 7:00pm-7:30am.

Pay: $38.56 - $44.42 per hour.
Responsibilities
Monitors clients’ medical status, signs and symptoms of withdrawal and reports to supervisor or medical director.
Works with other medical staff for continuity of client medical care and communicates with clinical staff regarding clients’ medical concerns.
Works directly with clients to provide medical services and interpret medical information.
Provide direct client care of medical examination, implementation of medical orders, treatment of medical conditions and communicable and infectious disease reporting in accordance with the law.
Develop public health education and screening protocols.
Provide and document medical consultation, assessment, examination, treatment planning and review consistency with agency policy and requirements.
Evening/Night availability preferred; shift differentials apply.
Qualifications
Must be a licensed Registered Nurse currently registered by the New York State Department.
At least two years of experience, or comparable training in the treatment of substance abuse and/or substance dependency.
