Responsibilities:

· Automation Rockstar: Identify opportunities for automation using cutting-edge tools (RPA) to streamline financial controls.

· SOX Superhero: Ensure robust controls meet Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance standards and collaborate with external auditors.

· Process Pro: Assess current controls, identify gaps, and work with management to implement best practices and mitigate risks.

· Collaboration Champion: Partner with all levels of the organization (1st, 2nd, & 3rd lines) to foster a strong control culture.

· Knowledge Sharer: Develop training programs to equip colleagues with the knowledge to understand and manage risk effectively.

Qualifications:

· 7+ years of experience in finance, accounting, risk management, or related field.

· Deep understanding of SOX, COSO framework, and internal control principles.

· Experience with technology solutions like RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and GRC tools (e.g., Archer) is a plus.

· Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.

· Proactive, self-starter with excellent time management and ability to adapt to change.

Note:

This role is HYBRID; thus, open to in/around/near Syracuse/Brooklyn, NY.

Pay Details: $62.32 per hour
