The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Can Making Plant in Revesby, New South Wales, which will soon be going under an $85 million capacity expansion. Reporting into the Shift Supervisor, the Can Makers would work on a 12hr rotating shift (6am- 6pm & 6pm-6am).

Key Responsibilities

  • Work well autonomously but also within a team and achieve safety, quality, and efficiency target

  • We expect the incumbent to be physically fit, and can communicate well, keeping everyone in the loop and where required ensuring documentation is maintained.

  • Be committed to adhere and practice safe working practices and work unsupervised.

  • Has been exposed to an environment where there is a focus on quality & continuous improvement.

  • And have sound problem solving and mechanical reasoning ability

  • Running and maintaining our concord decorators, to our onsite targets

About You

  • Have recent experience as a Machine Operator in a high-speed manufacturing environment, preferably in fast moving consumer goods.

  • Excellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills.

  • Availability to work across 24hr rotating shift patterns.

  • Be passionate about safety and keeping everyone safe by following safe work practices and safety procedures.

  • Have an eye for detail and be customer focused.

  • Willingness to learn and grow in the organisation.

  • Be able to set up equipment and optimise the production output, once fully trained.

  • Willing to undertake a pre-employment medical which includes drug & alcohol testing.
