Description

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

AWS is seeking a leader for Field Sales Operations to drive operational excellence across a team of talented individuals who are the operations partners for sales leaders in Australia and New Zealand.

This leader will manage business cadences within ANZ driving consistency across the team, and will also work with worldwide teams to manage the local execution of global business processes with a focus on optimisation and simplification.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Field Sales Operations Managers driving team engagement and career development.

  • Develop simple scalable solutions and processes to help the business achieve revenue attainment and growth goals.

  • Project-manage multiple workflows including Annual and In-year Planning in partnership with the planning team; managing segmentation, quota planning, goaling, headcount, issue management and escalation pathways.

  • Use data and analyses to deliver business insights and inform strategies, communicating complex concepts, both written and verbal, in a clear and easy-to-understand way.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders: Sales, Business Intelligence, Finance, Marketing, Recruiting, Compensation and other Operations teams.

The Field Sales Operations team are part of the ANZ Sales Operations and Strategy team; advisors and partners to ANZ sales leaders driving sales success through operational excellence.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in a senior leadership role in sales, sales operations, strategy, business intelligence, program management or other related field.

  • Experience leading high performing teams.

  • Proven experience with the implementation and optimisation of sales systems / tools, e.g. CRM, sales compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, etc.

  • Expert level in Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading high performing teams.

  • Experience with business-process design and optimisation.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritise ruthlessly, and manage competing demands.

  • Experience preparing business reviews for senior management.

  • Exhibits sound business judgment and proven ability to influence others.
