Description

We have partnered with a client within the medical industry on their search for a Director of Accounting & Cash Management who can oversee the company’s accounting functions and cash management activities. This candidate will direct and manage cash flow planning, oversee customer relationships, lead the budgeting process, including planning, forecasting, and variance analysis, ensure the timely processing of customer invoices, perform account reconciliation, review cash applications, implement finance process improvements, participate in banking strategies with CFO, and ensure efficient and effective financial processes and workflows. Ultimately, the successful Director of Accounting & Cash Management will assist with providing thorough cash management support and maintain a high functioning department.

· Analyze credit risk levels

· Monitor and forecast cash requirements

· Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis

· Manage surplus cash

· Establish credit policies

· Review cash management modules

· Collaborate with leadership to develop and monitor budgets

· Maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets

Requirements

The ideal Director of Accounting & Cash Management will preferably have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.

Other requirements for the Director of Accounting & Cash Management role include and are not limited to:

· 5+ years of cash management experience

· Experience with 13-week cash forecasting

· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

· Epicor a big plus

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
